Daily Color Puzzle: How to Play TINT Daily Harmony

To play TINT's daily color puzzle, open Daily Harmony above the chapter list and swap the movable tiles until the gradient is complete. The board follows your device's local date, and your first completion for that date counts toward your daily streak. Here is where to find today's board and what to expect before and after you finish.

Find today's Daily Harmony board

Open TINT: Hue Puzzle and tap Start if the opening screen appears. On the level selection screen, look above Sunrise for the card labeled Daily puzzle, with Daily Harmony beneath it. Tap that card to open the daily board; you do not need to finish a chapter or unlock Pro first. The game screen shows Daily Harmony with a date underneath in year-month-day order. Check that date when looking for today's puzzle. You do not need a puzzle number, a search result with today's answer, or a separate daily download.

What changes each day?

Daily Harmony has six columns and eight rows, making 48 tiles. The date determines its color palette and which positions are pinned. Those features stay the same when you reopen the same date's puzzle, but the movable tiles are shuffled again each time you start it. Two people playing the same date can therefore have the same finished gradient and different starting arrangements. If you compare boards with someone else, compare the date, corner colors, and pinned positions before comparing individual swaps. A different starting shuffle does not mean you opened the wrong puzzle.

Make swaps and use the daily controls

Tiles marked with a small dot are fixed. Swap the others by dragging one onto another, or by tapping one tile and then a second. Each manual swap adds one to the move counter at the upper right. The lightbulb below the board places a misplaced tile correctly, then displays a 45-second cooldown before another hint is available. The circular arrow restarts the board with a fresh shuffle and a move count of zero; it does not undo just your last swap. There is no countdown limiting how long you can spend solving the puzzle.

How the date works around midnight

TINT uses your device's local calendar date when you open Daily Harmony, rather than a single worldwide reset time. Players in different time zones may already be on different dates. If the level screen stays open across midnight, the card can still show yesterday's solved message until it refreshes. Tapping it opens a board for the current local date; check the date under the game title. A board already in progress keeps the date it opened with. For a straightforward daily streak, finish that day's board before midnight rather than carrying it into the next day.

What happens when you finish

Once the board is solved, the result panel says Daily Harmony! and shows your streak and the number of moves used in that attempt. It also displays a star rating, but daily stars do not increase the chapter star total on the level screen. Tap Back to levels to return to the daily card and chapter list. The daily card then shows a checkmark and the message Solved — come back tomorrow. Daily completion does not advance you to a chapter level, unlock a later chapter, or add a separate entry to a results calendar.

How a daily streak is counted

Your first daily completion starts a one-day streak. On the next date, completing Daily Harmony extends it if the last recorded daily completion was yesterday. Replaying an already completed date does not add another day. If you skip a date, your next daily completion starts the count again at one. There is a display limitation: the flame badge on the level screen can keep showing an older streak after a missed day. That number does not mean the gap was forgiven; the count updates when you complete the next daily board. TINT does not offer a streak-repair control.

Replay today or return tomorrow

The solved daily card remains playable. Tap it again to try the same date's palette with a new shuffle, or use Restart during an attempt. Replays give you another attempt, but they do not earn another streak day. TINT keeps the last daily completion date and streak count; it does not keep a daily best-move record or an archive you can browse to replay missed dates. If you want another puzzle after today's daily, choose a chapter board from the level screen. Its progress is recorded separately, as shown in the table.

What is saved, and what is lost when you leave

The daily completion date and streak are saved locally on your device. An unfinished board's tile positions and move count are not saved for later. Using the back arrow and reopening Daily Harmony starts another shuffle, and closing and reopening the app does not restore a half-finished attempt. Finish before leaving if you want that attempt to count. In Settings, Reset progress currently clears chapter stars while leaving the daily completion date and streak intact. Despite its broad label, that button does not give you a fresh daily record or make today's completed puzzle count for a second day.

Frequently asked questions

Is Daily Harmony free to play?

Yes. You can open Daily Harmony directly from its card without Pro or chapter completion. The Pro locks on later chapter boards do not block the daily card.

Can I play today's daily color puzzle offline?

Yes. TINT creates Daily Harmony on your device using the local date. The daily board and its completion record do not require a daily download or an account login.

Why does my daily board look different from a friend's?

First compare the dates shown below Daily Harmony. The same date determines the same palette and pinned positions, while the movable tiles shuffle independently. Different local dates can give you different daily boards.

Does using a hint add to my move count?

No. A hint rearranges tiles without increasing the displayed move count. The counter increases when you make a swap yourself. You can still complete Daily Harmony and record the day after using hints.

Can I recover yesterday's missed puzzle?

There is no date picker or past-puzzle archive. The Daily Harmony card opens the board for the current local date, so it cannot be used to select a missed day and repair a streak.

Does opening Daily Harmony keep my streak going?

No. Opening the card, making a few swaps, or leaving a board unfinished does not record a daily completion. Solve the board and wait for the result panel before leaving.
